Comedian Basketmouth [/b]has provided an explanation for his actions after mocking Wizkid during Davido’s recent traditional wedding festivities.
Following the release of Davido’s pre-wedding photos, Wizkid stirred attention with cryptic tweets. Basketmouth responded by commenting that Wizkid’s post was unnecessary and that Davido’s wedding was dominating social media.
In a recent video, Basketmouth disclosed that his tweet was a deliberate marketing tactic. He explained:
“Wizkid is my guy, what I did was a marketing technique, I knew it was edgy, it would get people talking and it did what I expected it to do, it worked in my favour.”
