Brooke Hogan, the daughter of late wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, has spoken out to clarify the reason behind her absence from her father’s recent WWE tribute event.
Taking to Instagram to address growing criticism and questions from fans, Brooke explained that her nonappearance was not intentional or due to personal choice. Rather, she revealed that she was never formally invited by WWE to attend the tribute event that honored her father’s legacy.
In her Instagram story, she plainly wrote, “@WWE did not extend an invite,” putting to rest the rumors and assumptions circulating online about why she wasn’t part of the emotional gathering.

The post comes at a time when speculations have been swirling around Brooke and her relationship with her late father. Reports had earlier emerged in 2023 claiming that she had requested to be removed from Hulk Hogan’s will, although the reason behind that decision remains undisclosed.
Despite her absence from the tribute, Brooke’s post seems to have resonated with fans who felt she deserved an opportunity to grieve and honor her father in a public setting. Many expressed shock that she wasn’t contacted, especially considering her long-standing public presence as part of Hulk Hogan’s family during his years in the spotlight.
The tribute event for Hulk Hogan took place during Monday Night Raw in Detroit, drawing massive attention from fans and fellow wrestlers who gathered to pay their final respects to the wrestling icon.
Hulk Hogan sadly passed away at the age of 71 on July 24, 2025, at his home in Clearwater, Florida. According to official reports, the cause of death was cardiac arrest. His passing sent shockwaves across the wrestling world and beyond, as tributes poured in from colleagues, fans, and celebrities.
Brooke, known not only as Hogan’s daughter but also as a singer and reality TV personality, had a close relationship with her father for many years, often appearing with him in public and on their family’s reality show, "Hogan Knows Best."
