Popular Nigerian content creator and TikTok sensation, Jarvis, has officially confirmed that she is engaged to fellow digital personality and TikTok star Peller. This confirmation comes several months after fans were left in confusion following the viral proposal moment during a livestream in December 2024.
The 23-year-old influencer made the announcement in a recent interview with Channels Television, where she finally clarified the true nature of her relationship with Peller. This follows months of speculation and public debate, especially after she previously described the proposal as merely a “promise ring” and denied any romantic ties.
Speaking candidly during the interview, Jarvis acknowledged the engagement, saying it caught her by surprise. She stated, “I believe that we will get married at the right time. There’s a lot in marriage, so you have to be careful. It’s true that we are engaged. He [Peller] actually engaged me; shockingly to me.”
This marks a significant shift from her earlier public stance when she seemed hesitant to admit to any formal relationship. Jarvis also addressed why she was not seen wearing the ring after the proposal. She explained that the ring didn’t fit her finger properly and, for safety, she decided to keep it securely at home instead of forcing it or resizing it prematurely.
The social media star went further to share how her perception of Peller changed over time. Initially, she confessed to having serious doubts about their compatibility, mostly due to how he portrayed himself on social media. “I didn’t think we would match at all. But he’s actually a cool person offline. I’ve learned not to judge people based on social media,” she said.
According to Jarvis, her evolving understanding of Peller’s real personality—beyond the online persona—played a key role in her warming up to him and eventually accepting the engagement.
