Kemi Olunloyo Renews Allegations Against Iyabo Ojo

Controversial Nigerian investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has once again stirred the media space by reviving serious allegations against popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, accusing her of having previously acted in adult films in the Benin Republic.

Taking to her official Facebook page, Olunloyo reposted a claim she initially made in 2024, in which she alleged that before becoming a mainstream actress in Nigeria’s Nollywood industry, Iyabo Ojo was involved in the pornography industry across West Africa.

She further accused Iyabo Ojo of hiding this aspect of her past in an effort to protect what she described as a “clean image” and respectable reputation within Nigeria’s entertainment scene. According to Olunloyo, this deception has gone on for years without being publicly acknowledged.

“A year ago, nobody believed me. Iyabo Ojo has been fielding a false narrative for years that she was raped five times, something she did for followers and attention, plus to cover up the real story. Five different men knacked her in adult films,” Olunloyo alleged in her strongly-worded post.

Olunloyo also reignited her claims related to the widely discussed Mohbad case, in which Iyabo Ojo was previously outspoken. According to Olunloyo, the actress admitted to falsely accusing singer Naira Marley and music promoter Sam Larry of involvement in the late singer’s demise, and then allegedly fled the country.

She claimed that Iyabo Ojo escaped to Canada shortly after reportedly backing out of a written apology that she had earlier promised. The journalist suggested that this move was part of a broader attempt by the actress to avoid public accountability and further scrutiny over her past actions and public statements.

“After admitting to tarnishing NM and SL in the Mohbad case, refusing to do a written apology, and then fleeing to Canada, do you now believe she was forcefully violated five times?” Olunloyo questioned, again expressing skepticism toward the actress’s previous trauma claims.
