Controversial Nigerian investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has once again sparked widespread debate on social media after making bold new claims regarding Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, and her Tanzanian husband, singer Juma Jux.
The couple recently thrilled fans by announcing that they are expecting their first child together. However, in a surprising twist, Olunloyo took to her Facebook page to allege that the baby was not actually carried by Priscilla, but rather delivered via a surrogate mother.
According to her claims, the couple has already welcomed a baby boy and are allegedly keeping details of the child’s birth under wraps. Olunloyo added that the child is expected to hold triple citizenship — Nigerian, Tanzanian, and Canadian — suggesting that the baby may have been born abroad.
“UPDATE: Jux and Priscilla Mkambala used a surrogate. Congratulations to them on their new son, Baby Mkambala. 3 passports,” she posted, sharing the update alongside a link discussing surrogacy and its growing use among high-profile individuals.
In a bid to support her claim, Kemi Olunloyo included a screenshot of a social media comment by an unnamed user who alleged that the pregnancy was staged. The comment raised questions about the authenticity of Priscilla’s baby bump and further speculated that fertility issues on the husband’s side may have influenced the decision to use a surrogate.
“This pregnancy is fake… They did surrogacy and want to make people believe she had the baby herself… From the beginning we heard the boy is not productive… Pregnancy of 3 months can’t be as big as this,” the commenter alleged in a post shared by Olunloyo.
Despite the growing attention and online chatter surrounding the surrogacy claim, neither Priscilla Ojo nor Juma Jux has publicly responded to the allegations. The couple previously shared a series of intimate maternity photos, accompanied by a heartfelt message expressing their excitement and gratitude for the arrival of their baby, drawing widespread praise and congratulatory messages from fans and celebrities alike.
