Investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has stirred controversy once again after alleging that Afrobeats sensation Davido has taken decisive action against popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, following recent developments in the ongoing conversations surrounding the late singer, Mohbad.
This comes in the wake of a series of leaked WhatsApp chats published by controversial social commentator VeryDarkMan, in which Iyabo Ojo was seen accusing Davido of using Mohbad’s tragic death to gain public sympathy and attention — a claim that quickly sparked backlash online.
In a detailed Facebook post, Kemi Olunloyo claimed that Davido has now officially revoked Iyabo Ojo’s invitation to his upcoming white wedding to his longtime partner, Chioma, which is set to take place in Atlanta later this year. The post also revealed that Davido has unfollowed the actress on Instagram, signaling a complete social and personal disconnection between the two celebrities.
“August go long👀. Wedding invite cancelled, unfollows Iyabo,” Olunloyo posted, hinting that more drama may unfold as the month progresses.
In addition to these developments, Kemi Olunloyo took to her platform again in a follow-up update, where she disclosed Iyabo Ojo’s alleged current location. Contrary to earlier reports that the actress had travelled to Canada amidst the growing tension, Olunloyo claimed she was hiding in a different location within Nigeria.
According to her, Naira Marley—another figure previously linked to controversies surrounding Mohbad’s demise—has started trolling Iyabo Ojo online. Kemi reminded her followers that back in 2012, Iyabo Ojo was involved in exposing sensitive personal details, including an address and phone number, to the anonymous gossip blog Gistlover.
