Oritsefemi Celebrates Daughter’s Wedding in Lithuania

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Oritsefemi, is currently celebrating one of the most cherished moments in a father’s life — walking his daughter, Patience Orighomisan, down the aisle during her beautiful wedding ceremony held in Lithuania.

The music star, best known for his hit song “Double Wahala,” shared several emotional and memorable clips from the event on his Instagram story, expressing deep pride and happiness. The heartwarming uploads included a touching throwback photo of his daughter and a special video of Patience and her groom, Donatas Rimkus, exchanging wedding vows.

Oritsefemi, clearly overwhelmed by emotion, captioned one of the posts, “A very big congrats to you my darling daughter,” as he celebrated her new journey into married life. His words reflected a blend of joy, nostalgia, and gratitude.

In another Instagram story, the proud father shared a clip of himself walking his daughter down the aisle, writing, “Walking down the aisle. See me walking majestically. Glory be to the Almighty.” The video captured not just the ceremonial walk, but also the immense pride he felt in that moment.

Oritsefemi didn’t stop at celebration — he also used the moment to send prayers and blessings for the newlyweds, writing, “May the Almighty God bless your union,” showing his deep spiritual gratitude and love for his daughter and her husband.

Despite the wedding taking place abroad, the singer hinted that the celebration will continue on Nigerian soil. He revealed that plans are underway for a second traditional ceremony to be held in Nigeria, which will incorporate Nigerian culture and customs into the celebration.

“That’s the Lithuania tradition. Them go come do our own for Nigeria very soon. Culture and tradition are very important,” Oritsefemi wrote, emphasizing the significance of staying rooted in one's heritage while honoring international practices.
