Popular Nigerian pastor Rev Kesiena Esiri Henry has sparked intense debate online after he publicly condemned gospel minister Ebuka Songs over a recent livestream session featuring popular online personality, Peller.
The incident in question occurred during a livestream video that went viral two days ago. In the video, Peller and Ebuka Songs were seen conducting a prayer and gospel music session in the presence of several others. Although many found the session uplifting, the pastor had a different interpretation.
According to Rev Kesiena Esiri Henry, the video was anything but spiritual. He accused the duo of making a mockery of sacred Christian practices, particularly speaking in tongues, which he believes is a divine gift and not something to be played with or trivialized.
The prayer gathering, although seemingly innocent to many viewers, was sharply criticized by the pastor who suggested that it had crossed the line from spiritual to comedic and even disrespectful.
Speaking in strong terms, Rev Kesiena particularly took issue with Ebuka’s choice of company, saying that associating with Peller, who he referred to as a “clown,” greatly diminished the integrity of the gospel message.
His words …
“How can you explain to me that somebody who says he sings for God. He ministers unto Elohim. We saw him on a video with one clown mocking tongues, mocking prophecy. Is this what the gospel has become? A stage play? A mockery session? Where is the fear of God?”

I will say it again many of this people who call themselves pastors are unemployed people who decided to open church as a way to make income .. if you are hungry to know God for yourself, read the Bible .. God is in His word .. read it.”

marrzofficial stated: “I’m not even a Peller fan but the moment he said “with that clown”… I completely lost interest in what the pastor had to say, he’s already being judgemental.”
