Controversial Nigerian street-hop singer, Portable, has publicly revealed that he has officially written a petition to the Nigerian police, requesting the arrest of online activist and social commentator, Verydarkman, following a heated online exchange that escalated into personal attacks and music diss tracks.
The dramatic fallout between the two personalities started after Verydarkman accused Portable of being a thief, alleging that he had once been caught stealing a tricycle (keke). This bold accusation was later amplified when Verydarkman dropped a diss track directly mocking Portable and tagging him with a criminal past.
In response, Portable fired back with his own diss track, in which he accused Verydarkman of having engaged in indecent acts for money, including allegedly performing hand jobs for cash during hard times. The beef, however, took a serious legal turn when Portable, frustrated by the ongoing back-and-forth, decided to escalate the matter to the authorities.
According to the singer, he has formally filed a petition demanding that the activist be picked up by law enforcement officers in Abuja for defamation, slander, and character assassination. Portable expressed outrage and disappointment, stating that the issue had gone beyond entertainment and needed to be handled legally.
