The ongoing online feud between Nigerian street-hop artist Portable and social media activist Verydarkman has taken a more dramatic and spiritual turn, as Portable was recently seen visiting a native shrine following the release of a diss track by Verydarkman, in which he labelled Portable a thief (“Ole”).
This latest development comes after a resurfaced video circulated by Verydarkman showed the moment Portable was paraded by authorities for allegedly stealing a tricycle, sparking renewed public criticism and igniting tensions between the two internet personalities.
In retaliation, both individuals have engaged in a musical war, dropping diss tracks filled with mockery, insults, and personal jabs. While many fans viewed this as part of the usual online drama, Portable seems to have taken the matter more personally.
Visibly offended by the latest lyrical attack, Portable reportedly filed a police petition demanding the arrest of Verydarkman. However, in a surprising twist, a video surfaced shortly after showing Portable at a traditional shrine, where he could be seen reporting Verydarkman and others who have publicly mocked him by calling him a thief.
This unexpected turn from legal action to spiritual recourse has left fans both amused and shocked, with social media users flooding the comment sections with mixed reactions.
