Nigerian entertainer and nightlife influencer Yhemolee has broken his silence over speculations about a possible marital crisis with his wife, Thayour. The couple, who got married less than a year ago, have been trending online after a series of cryptic messages posted by Yhemolee raised concerns among fans and followers.
The social media posts, which touched on themes of emotional turmoil and solitude, sparked rumours that all may not be well in the entertainer’s marriage. Many users interpreted his words as subtle confirmations of underlying issues between him and his wife.

In one of his now-viral posts, Yhemolee wrote: “Don’t die for any woman. That kind of sacrifice will only lead to loss.” In another, he added, “Isolation initially looks like punishment, but something powerful happens in the silence.” These posts ignited online conversations, with some fans suggesting they hinted at deeper marital struggles.
However, in a fresh response on Thursday, the media personality dismissed the rumours and criticised those speculating about his private life. Yhemolee appeared to take aim at what he described as “online in-laws,” accusing them of inventing stories due to lack of access to his personal affairs.
“I wasn’t expecting any less from them. As dem no see food chop since from me, them go cook werey chop for themselves,” he said, using a popular Nigerian slang to call out people spreading unverified claims.
He went on to encourage men to prioritise their mental and emotional wellbeing, using a reference from the Netflix series The King’s Affection (TKAM) to illustrate his point. “All the men for TKAM dey oh. If you look am well, all the women remain alive,” he said, implying that men often suffer silently in relationships.
He also reacted to a trending video of a man emotionally breaking down over issues with his wife, calling out what he termed “daughters of Jezebel” who left mocking comments online. “You need to see the comments of the daughters of Jezebel. Hence, my outrage. Shalom,” he wrote.
Yhemolee concluded with a firm message, saying he wouldn’t be sharing any personal problems with strangers online. “Agenda must agend. So even if I get crisis na, people wey never chop since yesterday I go come tell? My family dey go enjoy life like this. Make una dey there dey cry for Ijegun,” he added.
