In a bold political statement that has sparked national attention, Muhammad Gudaji Kazaure, a former member of the House of Representatives from Jigawa State, has claimed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be defeated in the 2027 presidential election even before noon on election day.
The outspoken ex-lawmaker made this assertion during a recent public event, where he openly criticized the Tinubu administration for what he described as "widespread mismanagement" and deteriorating conditions across the country. His comments were shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @AIT_Online, drawing widespread reactions online.
Kazaure accused the President of failing to address the economic hardships facing millions of Nigerians, arguing that the people will express their dissatisfaction through the ballot in 2027. According to him, the level of disappointment in the country is so high that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will not survive the first few hours of voting on election day.
“Before 12 p.m. on election day, Tinubu will have lost the election. Nigerians are tired,” he said. The ex-lawmaker emphasized that voters across all regions—North and South—are increasingly united in their frustration over the country's worsening economy, rising insecurity, and lack of tangible development.
Kazaure’s remarks quickly went viral, with a video clip of his speech circulating widely on social media and sparking heated conversations. Nigerians from different political leanings took to the comment section to express a variety of opinions, ranging from support for his boldness to criticism of his political outlook.
