A man has caused a wave of online reactions after he refused his girlfriend’s emotional and public marriage proposal, despite her getting down on one knee and offering him a ring in front of bystanders.
The dramatic incident was captured on video and shared by TikTok user @cherish_119. In the clip, the woman is seen kneeling in a public area, visibly emotional and pleading with her partner to accept the proposal. Her actions drew the attention of nearby onlookers, some of whom tried to intervene.
Despite her persistence and the crowd’s interest, the man stood his ground and declined to accept the ring. Instead, he tried to convince her to get up so they could continue on their way, clearly uncomfortable with the situation unfolding around them.
