A Nigerian woman has publicly called out her husband, accusing him of completely neglecting his duties as a father and husband due to his excessive involvement in sports betting.
In a heartfelt video uploaded on her TikTok account, @ceozinnythrift, the frustrated woman detailed how her husband has allegedly abandoned her and their children, choosing instead to devote his time and attention to predicting football match outcomes and engaging in betting activities.
She claimed that he no longer provides any form of financial support or emotional care to the household, leaving her to shoulder the entire burden of raising their children alone.
According to her, the situation has been worsened by the attitude of her husband’s family, who, rather than intervene or correct him, continue to support and enable his irresponsible behavior. She expressed deep disappointment in their refusal to hold him accountable for his actions.
“The children are my sole responsibility. He doesn’t care, he just keeps betting. His family sees nothing wrong with what he’s doing,” she said in the viral video.
